Off day well spent. Mini reunion lunch.
Registered for the Energizer Night Race (gonna be fun =D).

Working part time enables me to eat nice food without feeling guilty.

"haha u need a caring pastor in this cruel workshop to balance the bad feeling" - in two weeks time, another round

To God be the glory!

Kriegserklärung

The people of yesterday suffered a lot. In terms of financial problems and opportunities. They had to work really hard to get to where they are today. They told themselves, "I don't want my children to suffer like I did".

But something went wrong somewhere. Too many things changed with time.

Today, we are a spoiled generation.

Chatting with adults can be really fun.

Nasi Goreng Kurang Mahal

Have you ever encountered this situation?

You said (something for constructive criticism, or a comment about a certain negative trait) to somebody, and that person instantly goes "Oh, at least I'm not as bad as (someone else's name)." Annoying, eh? The thing is, why pull up a 'weaker' person to be used as your shield? In the first place, whatever is said is not offensive or false cuz otherwise the listener will disagree or become angry. This kind of response implies that the person either agrees with your comment, or thinks that whatever is being corrected is still at an acceptable level. A good practice (although easier said than done) is to simply say something like "thanks for pointing it out."

Of course, someone who is stubborn and refuses to listen to others for his/her own good is much worse than the 'put-up-a-human-shield' type.

Crystal Lake

Those little plans you thought of. Random acts. Ideas that sound great. Are they still alive? What killed them? That rusty saying, "if you never try, you will never know" applies here. Maybe you thought of something new, something interesting. Something that uplifts others or yourself. You wanted to do something. The first step is often ridiculously easy. To continue something you started is the real challenge. There is value and beauty in a worthy pursuit. The end of it will either be a lesson from mistakes, or a glorious victory, or both.

What's next for you?

Highlights of the week:

Wonderful Friday night fellowship. Water balloon game was creative and the punishment was different. The 'lesser' losers were succumbed to rapid fire by the winners (it hurts dei) while the 'greater' losers had to change their facebook profile picture. Had a great session that night x)

Freak weather. In a few minutes it changed from extremely hot sunshine to tornado and heavy rain. Nuuuttts. Lotsa trees fell. Things were flying.

Started part time work. Interesting. Staffs are funny.

That's all folks! Somehow the mood to blog is less these days.

Writer's Block

I wanna go to somewhere cold.

Like in your weekly manga, the author will be taking a short break to look for new material. Meanwhile, here is a picture of a stingray.

Potato Mouse

We couldn't stop laughing when we entered the river because it was too cold. And we saw a cool giant toad chilling by the mini waterfall. I guess to enjoy such wonders like an ice cold river, you have to masuk a hutan.

Why are there two Togepis in the church?

Lights.

A good cina businessman deal with your classmate.

Lesson

Any new event invitation will not overwrite any previous agreed invitation.
Then came 2 invitations, both really interesting.
What a test huh. Gotta keep your word yo.

Oh. I actually climbed Nuang again yesterday with Az, Nisha, Jon and Kiat. Though we didn't even reach Kem Pacat, it was a really fun day.

This morning we sent Zaim off. He'll be in Aus for studies. Take care bro!
